Go for eco-friendly camping trip in france

If you want to take a break from the corporate jungle and explore the serenity of rural France then believe than to grab a tent and go on a camping holiday? France is recognized for having some of the best campsites in Europe and there's no shortage of them. From the cosmopolitan west coast towards the mountainous south there are excellent facilities available to make your stay as comfortable as you possibly can.

It was south france camping trip. Driving ever southwards through the French countryside in the center of August, we noticed a couple of things. It was getting hotter - also it was getting even hotter! We’d sailed with P&O from Dover and simply negotiated our way around Paris because of my faith in the satnav by ignoring the map-reading man alongside me (husband Paul).I was going for an overnight stop at Eurocamp’s very pleasant and child friendly Chateau des Marais parc near Chambord within the Loire Valley.

A good play area designed for a happy six-year-old Daisy, while a good restaurant designed for happy parents. The next day we headed further south towards the Domaine de la Bastide parc in the Ardeche, pausing for any view of the spectacular Chateau de Chambord before striking the road.We arrived on the sweltering evening and examined our accommodation - a snug Eurocamp Safari tent with wooden decking and proper beds.

There is also a kitchen area with fridge, cooker and electric lighting, whilst in the front was a dining table and chairs where we sat and ate at night, enjoying the local wine looking towards the river, the trees and beautiful sunsets. It was definitely camping in fashion. The parc is set in wooded grounds underneath the 17th century Chateau de Sampzon, however the focus is the Ardeche river, which runs across the bottom of the parc and has a personal beach.
